Michelle Jefferson

Michelle is the Associate Dean of Students/Director of Student Conduct & Conflict Resolution Services. She has a B.A. from Rutgers University in Sociology and Women Studies, a M.Ed. in Leadership from Arcadia University, and a Ph.D. in Higher Education from Seton Hall University. Michelle has over 30 years of experience in higher education administration, undergraduate teaching, and graduate teaching. She has taught courses and developed curriculum in student development, organizational leadership, building community, and managing diversity. She has conducted numerous workshops and training sessions on diversity/cultural competency issues, leadership, mediation, student development, and values clarification. In addition, Michelle has special interests in organizational change, leadership analysis, multicultural and gender issues, as well as restorative justice and conflict resolution.
